GMO Global Alert

A new study has called for a moratorium on GMOs. “This is a risk we cannot afford to take.” The new study done in France,  tested the effect of GMO corn on rats for 2 years. Previous studies lasted only ninety days. This video is highly recommended.

Dear Newspaper:

I’d like to raise awareness of a very serious consumer issue. Genetically modified organisms or “GMOs” are in around 80% of the processed foods we eat, and yet they are neither proven safe, nor labeled.

The culprit foods are mainly those containing GM soy, canola, cotton, sugar beets and corn. These crops and a large number of derivatives of these crops are in the vast majority of the foods we eat, and yet we are denied the right to know, and the right to choose. These foods are hidden from our sight, which is unacceptable. Continue reading

Do you know what you’re eating?

GMOs (genetically modified organisms) are in 80% of the processed foods we eat in America and yet they’ve not been adequately tested. We believe it’s highly unethical to put experimental technology into the food we feed our families.

Over 60 countries have labeling, restrictions or bans against GMO food production or sale. We deserve the same level of protection and information in the U.S. as citizens in other nations around the world. We have the right to know what’s in the food we’re eating.

1. Get the Facts 2. Avoid GMOs 3. Create Awareness

“Any politician or scientist who tells you these products are safe is either very stupid or lying. The hazards of these foods are uncertain. In view of our enormous ignorance, the premature application of biotechnology is downright dangerous.”
